Jordan Faiman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey, and the owner of JSF Professional Counseling Services.  His company offers outpatient counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, and their families, which may include individual, couples, and/or family counseling. Our theoretical approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; however, we also believe in the importance of viewing the individual through a Family Systems perspective. In addition, all JSF providers have training and experience in Trauma Therapy.

Jordan completed his Masters of Arts degree in Psychological Services at Kean University, and a Masters of Arts degree in Psychological Counseling at Monmouth University.  Following his completion of these degree programs, he earned his LPC in 2011.

He is trained and has had experience in the field with individual, group, and family counseling across all mental health settings including treatment home providers, outpatient clinics, and group home environments.  Jordan has been in private practice since the summer of 2011 in both Ocean and Monmouth Counties. In addition to his practice, Jordan is currently the Director of Behavioral Health at Millhill Child and Family Development where he directly supervises over 35 licensed therapists and oversee services to over 400 youth and families in Trenton, NJ.  Prior to this, he served as a program director and therapist for two group homes for Community Treatment Solutions in Moorestown, NJ, where he oversaw services for male adolescents with various mental illnesses and who were sex offenders.

Additionally, Jordan began his counseling career by serving as initially a direct care counselor and quickly promoted to both a shift leader and senior shift leader for six years at Carrier Clinic in Belle Meade, NJ.  At Carrier Clinic, he provided direct service treatment to female adolescents with various mental illnesses as well as comorbidities with substance abuse disorders and was charged with supervision of the unit’s staff members and clients.
